These procedures include, but are not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Injections<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IVS is able to perform a variety of administration methods on mice and rats, including IV injections with anesthesia and oral gavage.\u00a0 Other methods in which our staff is trained include Subcutaneous (SQ), Intraperitoneal (IP), Intramuscular (IM), and Retro Orbital (RO) injections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Blood Collection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IVS is able to perform a variety of blood collection techniques on mice and rats. The most common sites for collection are the tail vein, submandibular, and orbital sinus, performed while the animal is under anesthesia. Cardiac draws are performed after euthanasia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prices and Guarantees<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All charges are based on tech time at $59.40 per hour per technician. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The investigator is responsible for cage per diem costs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All procedures must be approved on the requesting investigator\u2019s protocol.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All IVS personnel performing Technical Procedures will need to be listed on the requesting investigator\u2019s approved protocol. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To order Technical Services, go to our <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IVS Forms page<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
